Privacy Policy

Dain Bot ("Dain", "we", "us") is a product of NOMOI LLC. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We keep it plain because Dain is built for people who don't want to read legalese.

Early pilot notice. Dain is in an early pilot. To improve it quickly, usage analytics are on by default for pilot accounts. You can turn this off anytime in Settings → Share data to improve Dain Bot. We record how the product is used — not your passwords or the details you enter into forms.

What we collect

Account: your email address (to sign you in and contact you).
What you send Dain: the messages and tasks you give your agents, so they can do the work and so you can see your history.
Connected services: when you connect a tool (e.g. Gmail, Calendar, Slack, Notion, GitHub), Dain accesses only what's needed to perform the task you asked for, using the permissions you granted. You can disconnect any connector anytime.
Usage & analytics: how you use the app (events, screens, performance) to improve it. Sensitive content such as passwords and form field values is excluded from this stream.
Payments: handled by Stripe. We do not store your card number.

How we use it

To run the tasks you ask for and show you the results ("receipts").
To operate, secure, and improve the product.
To contact you about your account (e.g. sign-in links, important notices).

We do not sell your personal data.

Service providers (subprocessors)

Dain relies on a small set of processors to function. Each processes data only to provide its part of the service:

AI model providers — to generate responses and do the work: OpenAI, Google (Gemini), Anthropic, DeepSeek, Moonshot (Kimi), Alibaba (Qwen), and other models we route to, accessed via OpenRouter. Providers are chosen per request; some process data outside your country.
Mailgun — sign-in emails.
Stripe — payments (we never store your card number).
Microsoft Clarity — product analytics.
Runway, fal.ai — image/video generation, only when you request it.
The third-party tools you connect (Gmail, Slack, etc.) — accessed only with the permissions you grant, to do the task you asked for.

Where your request contains sensitive personal details (for example, a job application or a form), we work to route it to a suitable provider and to leave out data that isn't needed. This is an early pilot; if you are in a region with strict data-transfer rules (such as the EU/UK), email [email protected] before sharing personal data and we'll confirm the current handling.

Your choices & rights

Turn analytics sharing off anytime in Settings.
Disconnect any connected tool anytime.
Ask us to access or delete your data by emailing [email protected].

Data retention & security

We keep your data only as long as needed to provide the service or as required by law, and we protect it with encryption in transit and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to safeguard your information.

Children

Dain is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

International

NOMOI LLC operates from the UAE and works with providers in other regions; your data may be processed outside your country under appropriate safeguards.

Changes

We may update this policy; we'll change the date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app.
